Hello, I am Danny!
I acknowledge and am grateful that I live on the beautiful traditional territory of the StΓ³:lΕ First Nation.
Looking for a counsellor can be a difficult experience. I want to commend you in your courage and hope that this bio will help you navigate whether I am a good fit to join you.
My passion is to walk with people in their life journey helping facilitate growth and change.
I am well known for my energetic nature and I would call myself an outdoor enthusiast. Many describe me as approachable and relatable. I am compassionate, caring, and find great meaning being present with my clients. I am a helper and it brings me great honour to support clients through some of the very toughest moments in life.
Areas that I support clients include (but are not limited to):
Anxiety
Depression
Relationships

Adjustment & Transition
Stress
My practice is in a 1:1 capacity and includes both office sessions and walk and talk therapy (various locations in Chilliwack).
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor #12305 and possess a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from MBBS Fresno Pacific University, Fresno, California. Since 2009 I have been working in the counselling field in various capacities including working in schools, private practice, mental health clinic with youth transitioning to adulthood, and supervising a youth prevention outdoor adventure program.
As someone who has lived my life on the Westcoast, I have a passion for rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking, disc golf, hunting for agates, and listening to audio books. I enjoy cooking and spending time with my wife and 2 teenagers. I have a love for diversity, connecting with many from various cultures and communities including the LGBTQ2S+ community.
