Life is complex, and so are the emotions that can arise at times.
When we are given space to process, feel seen, and be supported with our emotions, we can be reminded of our inner strength, truth, and creativity. As a counsellor, I come alongside you and support you to navigate the challenges that come your way, with collaborative dialogue and purposeful problem-solving.
Through empathy, humour, metaphors, and a desire for deeper understanding, I strive to create an environment where you feel connected and inspired to learn (or unlearn) thoughts and behaviors, that impact your life. I follow your lead and support you to get to where you would like to be headed.
With nearly a decade of experience in the field of helping people, I meet folks where they are at by having a practice that is relatable, informative, supportive, accessible, professional, and grounded.
As a guest living on the ancestral and unceded lands of the Coast Salish Peoples, I am committed to honouring Indigenous ways of knowing. I am grateful to my Indigenous colleagues and friends who have graciously supported me as I continue to learn how to practice allyship and align my professional work and personal life with reconciliation.
