Rose Welsh, she/her RCC, CCC

Hi there!

I’m Rose (she/her), and I understand how overwhelming life can feel when it leaves you uncertain or stuck. Whether you're navigating a challenging relationship, grappling with self-doubt, or searching for relief from persistent symptoms, I’m here to walk alongside you. I want to understand your unique story and provide a space where you feel truly seen, supported, and understood.

My approach is warm, compassionate, and grounded in collaboration. I believe that within each of us lies the strength to heal and grow, even when it feels out of reach. Together, we’ll uncover your strengths, explore your experiences, and work toward creating a life that feels more fulfilling and aligned with who you are.

Areas of Focus:

  • Trauma, and emotional dysregulation

  • Couples and sex therapy

  • Anxiety and perfectionism

  • Body image and self-esteem concerns

  • Stress and burnout

  • Depression

  • Life transitions

Couples Counselling:

Relationships are at the heart of who we are, and they can bring both immense joy and deep challenges. I’m passionate about helping couples navigate the complexities of their bond—whether you’re facing conflict or simply want to deepen your connection. As a Level 1 and 2 certified Gottman Couples Counsellor, I provide practical tools to enhance communication, resolve conflicts, and nurture intimacy. My goal is to support you in creating a stronger, more fulfilling partnership rooted in trust, respect, and love.

My Approach:

My counselling style is person-centred and trauma-informed, recognizing how life experiences shape us. I integrate various evidence-based modalities, including:

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

  • Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP)

  • Mindfulness-based techniques

  • Integrative Sex Therapy

  • The Gottman Couples Counselling Method

By tailoring our work to your specific needs, I strive to create an environment where your thoughts, feelings, and experiences are met with empathy and understanding.

Building a strong foundation of trust and connection is at the heart of my practice. I believe the relationship between you and your counsellor is deeply personal and central to the work we do together. It’s a privilege to be considered as a companion on your journey toward healing and growth.

When not in the counselling chair, I wear many hats: daughter, sister, friend, animal lover, wannabe Zumba instructor, and food enthusiast. I love binge-watching a good reality TV show and baking yummy treats during my downtime.

Rose is registered as a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) Member #11253632 and Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) Member #24460
